RUPPs, BOAT, Bridleways, Footpaths etc need to be declared and  formalised in 
law.  There is no applicable legal mechanism to designate  them up here in 
Paradise.
 
However, folk will still shout (or at least glower) at you no matter  
reasonably you behave.  
 
My theory is that a substantial percentage of these gits are folk who canny  
ride bikes and it's just jealosy.
